The legendary Miss Britney Spears continues to slay the fragrance market with her 10th perfume “Cosmic Radiance”
After successful fragrance Radiance, which surprised us with its flacon created of transparent turquoise and pink surfaces, its successor with the same form and different notes arrives!
This is a completely new perfume which arrives on the market in 2011, in a flacon with the same design as last year’s Radiance, created of black and glittery-transparent surfaces reminding of gems. A small dose of elegance and femininity is added by the pink color on the neck of the bottle.
The new fragrance is inspired by a star which twinkles brighter than all other stars, a star of a distant galaxy, far away from this world. The composition of the new cosmic glow by Britney Spears opens with strong and optimistic citruses, and a refreshing glittery red bouquet opening its fragrant petals in the very heart of the composition. The singer was so touched when she saw videos of troops lip-syncing her recent hit Hold It Against Me in the danger zone, she invited them to her upcoming Femme Fatale tour when they return to the US.
A while ago, the troops had posted a clip of their soldiers miming along to Britney’s song and dancing in their army base.
“I am in LOVE with this. I always knew our soldiers were fierce! Thanks for everything you guys do,” the 29-year-old wrote on Twitter after watching the video.
The star also sent care packages with handwritten notes to the troops.
Britney says that she feels honored to welcome the soldiers at her Femme Fatale tour and hopes that the brave service men will enjoy her show.
“I was so moved by the Hold It Against Me video that the Marines of HMLA-169 and VMM-266 REIN made in Afghanistan,” she told American website E! Online. “It warmed my heart to see our nation’s soldiers enjoying themselves to my music. I am honored to have them as guests at my concert this summer. I hope they like my show as much as I loved theirs.”

Britney Spears is about to head off on her ‘Femme Fatale’ US tour, and here at take40.com we are hoping that she decides to bring the tour down under!
Britney announced on her Twitter account that she would be adding international dates to her tour, but in true Britney style she refused to reveal exactly where she is going.
Britney tweeted, “New tour dates being announced tmw. Stay tuned to see what part of the world my #FemmeFataleTour will be traveling to next tweetiepies –Brit”
While there haven’t been any official announcements yet, we’ve got our fingers cross that Britney will be gracing our shores sometime soon!
Last week Britney specifically reached out to her Australian fans over Facebook. And when Britney posts something on her Twitter or Facebook accounts it usually means something big is happening.
She wrote, “Australia — what’s your favourite song from the new album ‘Femme Fatale’?”
We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see exactly where Britney is planning to go.

Nicki Minaj has spoken about her upcoming tour with Britney Spears, promising fans even more drama and spectacle.
Talking to MTV, Minaj said: “We probably won’t start talking about what we’re planning for another couple days.”
“I’m just trying to put more theatre on that stage. So much to me is music, but it’s also about putting on a show, so that’s my goal: to truly put on a show.”
The singer/rapper is fresh off the Lil Wayne tour bus, but wants to take things up a notch with the help of Britney.
“I think it’s pretty easy to take it to the next level … I think I’m nowhere close to where I could be as far as my shows have been. So I think it’s going to be pretty easy, actually.”
The Femme Fatale Tour will kick off on June 16 in Sacramento, California

Britney Spears’ breakdown inspired Barry Manilow to write his first album of new material in a decade.
The crooner admits he watched horrified as the Toxic singer suffered a public meltdown at the beginning of 2008 and her sad demise prompted him to create a bunch of new songs after years of chart success with covers albums.
He tells the Los Angeles Times, “The thing we started to think about was when Britney Spears was being hounded by the paparazzi. They were driving her crazy. She couldn’t have a life without them pulling up next to her car and following her and driving her crazy to the point where… that was around the time she shaved off her hair.
“I think they actually helped to drive her crazy. We all looked at it in horror, and (songwriting partner) Nick (Andersen) and I said, ‘Is this what happens these days?’ So it seemed like a thing to be writing an album about.”

Of his arguably most famous ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears, Timberlake tells Grigoriadis, “I wish her the best—that goes without saying. We haven’t spoken in 9 or 10 years.” The former child star says that most of his and Spears’s relationship was based on circumstance, but had no chance for the long term. “We were two birds of the same feather—small-town kids, doing the same thing. But then you become adults, and the way you were as kids doesn’t make any sense. I won’t speak on her, but at least for me, I was a totally different person,” he says. “I just don’t think we were normal; there was nothing normal about our existence. We spent way too much time being the biggest thing for teenyboppers.”
“It was exciting that we were having so much success and we could do whatever we wanted. And I mean that about everybody: Backstreet Boys, ’NSync, Britney, Christina,” Timberlake says of his early years as a pop idol. “At that time, we could literally go, ‘Oh, man, let’s go to Bali,’ and we’d be on a plane to Bali. We were little kids with big toys. You do the math—that’s not going to last.” Some very big toys, indeed, as Timberlake recalls that on the set of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, “Ryan [Gosling] and I used to steal golf carts and go driving in the middle of the park to get milk shakes, and we never got in trouble for it. We thought we were big shit.”

After working with tons of big names in the music industry, it’s hard to imagine Snoop Dogg being star struck, but at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 22) the rapper couldn’t keep his eyes off Britney Spears.
“Britney looked good!” Snoop told the BoomBox of Spears’ surprise performance with Rihanna during the show. “I’m proud of Britney. Nobody likes to give respect and appreciation to women when they go down and turn it back around and get back up. She should be commended for getting better, sounding good and looking good. She is always going to be the queen of pop stars.”
“It’s a lot of young girls that look up to her so when she got her life back together she should be commended for that. She shows little girls that you can mess up and get back up.” As far as the possibility of a future collaboration, Snoop left the ball in Spears’ court. “You have to ask Britney.”
